Co Education; In Islam

Being an Islamic state, Pakistan had to prepare that type of educational policy since independence which hold complete Islamic normal because the people of Indo-pak subcontinent demanded Pakistan or a separate state only for the sake of Islam that they could laid their lives according to the principles and values of Islam. The people who did struggle and gave sacrifices by their wealth as well as by their lives, they got unity only by the strength of religion. So it was expected that social and educational system of Pakistan should be
according to Islamic way of life.
Co-education means
the education of boys and girls in same school, colleges or universities. This
is a modern concept and has brought remarkable change in the societies. It was
first introduces in Switzerland, but now it has become popular almost in all western
and Asian countries.
First
of all the main point is that “co-education is not an issue that has
specifically been addressed by the Shari`ah LIMITATIONS OF MEN AND WOMEN
INTERACTION: “There is a well-known principle in Islamic law, which may be rendered
in translation as
"Blocking the means (of evils)."
Every coin has two
sides, and my eye approaches to both of those silvery shiny sides, the
positivity of coeducation is that a person learns how to interact and deal with
other people and he/she develops her interpersonal skills which becomes a
strong stick to an old man when he/she enters the professional life because in
that period of your life it is not necessary that you are only going to deal
with girls if you are a girl or boys if you are a boy.... The time shows every
mirror so it’s better to be trained from earlier clocks!!
My personal
argument is against co-education and I say that in co-education environments
students have more opportunity and temptations to go astray. They cannot
maintain the right etiquette of intermingling as prescribed by the Islamic
Shari‘ah, at all times during school hours Co-education is male and female
persons in a learning environment (school) together as opposed to gender
segregated education.
So
in this way the Pakistan the Islamic republic state cannot afford the co
education system which hinders their Islamic values and morals.
